Retractable Lanyards / Mini Blocks / SRL's

The Kratos Mini Blocks are compact with a high impact strength polymer casting to prevent breakage. They have an internal locking mechanism which will react instantly should you fall.

They are equiped with an external energy absorber which guarantees your fall will be well under the 6Kn, this pack is proteded by a removable textile sleeve. The webbing is 20mm wide with an overall length of 2m. The minimum breaking strength is › 15 kN

The units are compliant to EN360:2002 and have been tested and approved for horizontal use (sharp edges) and for use in fall factor 2 (max 1.80m).

The Twin Retractable Block Connector allows you to attach two mini blocks directly to the intersection of the dorsal strap of the user's harness. This enables the blocks to be used like a forked unit which allows movement with a new anchorage point being selected whilst still attached to the initial point, thus ensuring a constant connection. It can also reduce the length of swing during the fall.

The connector complies with EN362: 2004.

NOTE: The Twin Retractable Block Connector must only be used with the Kratos FA20 502 02 Mini Block or the Kratos FA20 503 02 Mini Block.

The V-TEC Mini Personal Fall Limiter is a compact and lightweight self-retracting lanyard that has multiple spring radial energy-absorbing technology which eliminates the need for an external energy-absorber. Whilst the V-TEC PFL does not have fall factor 2 or over the edge protection it is ideally suited for connection to tripods and MEWPS as its overall length is shorter than other PFLs.

It has a fully rotating attachment point for flexibility and the transparent polycarbonate case allows for easy visual inspection of the internal components.

The V-Tec Mini is 1.8m in length, has a weight range of 60 - 140 kg for a single user (including tools) and for 100kg (including tools) on a MEWP.

The V-TEC Mini PFL complies with EN360: 2002.

The unit can be supplied with various connectors to suit your requirements.

The Sala Nano-Lok self retracting lifeline offers up to 2.03 metres from connection to connection with an instantaneous lock as soon as a fall starts to happen. The block has many options for connections from 19mm opening right up to 57mm although these do need to be stated at the time of order.

The Nano-Lok has the highest fall certification possible for these types of devices as it is suitable for use with fall factor 2. It locks quickly offering more protection at low heights and has a safe working load of up to 140kgs.

The Aero-Bloc Self Retracting Lifelines are designed for use as a single person fall protection device. They are a lightweight and compact unit with a clear durable housing for ease of inspection.

They have an external shock pack with a hard wearing cover and are available with either a snap hook or a rebar hook.

The Aero-Bloc SRL has a 140kg user rating when connecting to anchorages up to 600mm below the harness attachment location and are certified to EN360:2002.

The twin units come with a quick connector for easy attachment to a harness.

The FA 20 300 02 is a lightweight 2.5 metre expanding lanyard with shock absorbing pack and fall indicator hook.

The unit is supplied with a 17mm screw gate karabiner at one end and if being purchased will require another karabiner for use which is an extra.

The Blocfor 1.8A ESD fall arrest device is suitable for use on terrace roofs and complies with CNB/P/11.062.

The unit can be used vertically or with a standard deviation of 20° in relation to vertical and also for horizontal use without the use of a lanyard between the end of the strap and the harness. The unit complies with EN 360 and CNB/P/11.060 standards for use on edges with a minimal 0.5 mm curve radius.

The Blocfor 1.8A ESD has a flexible unwinding system that does not jerk during operator movement and a responsive system which locks automatically in the event of a fall reducing the total drop height. It includes Energy System Dissipater (ESD) technology that enables the unit to arrest a fall even when the webbing is fully unwound.

The Blocfor 1.8A ESD is lightweight with a ABS fibre reinforced polyaminde housing and has a standard M47 swivel connector at the end of the shock absorber and the option of a M10, M51 or M53 connector on the unit. The device has a total user capacity of 150kgs

The Blocfor 1.8 ESD EVO fall arrest devices have been specially developed for fall factor 2 use and comply with CNB/P/11.085. They have a total user capacity of 150kg and are lightweight.

The unit can be used vertically or with a standard deviation of 20° in relation to vertical and also for horizontal use without the use of a lanyard between the end of the strap and the harness. The unit complies with EN 360 and CNB/P/11.060 standards for use on edges with a minimal 0.5 mm curve radius.

The Blocfor 1.8A ESD EVO is designed so the user can attached the fall arrester housing onto the anchorage of the structure whereas the Blocfor 1.8B ESD EVO is designed so the user can attached the fall arrester housing to the back attachment of the harness.

The casings are ABS-filled polyamide, resistant to impact, ageing and UV.
