Single Gas Personal Detectors

Gas-Pro is a compact unit offering detection of up to 5 gases at a time with single button operation.

It has multiple alarms with an audible 95dB alarm, bright red/blue all angle LED's and vibrating alerts to provide warning of gas hazards. The top mount display is backlit with a dual colour backlight (green/red).

The Gas-Pro has an 14 hour (13 for pumped operation) battery life with a rechargeable Li-ion and the charge time is around 7.5hrs. It is ATEX approved and rated IP65 and IP67.

The unit can log 125 hours of data at 10 second intervals with a total of 45,000 log entries.

The Gas-Pro unit is available for fresh water or with a customisable set of sensors.

The Gasman is a compact single gas personal monitor that has an impact resistant construction and offers a wide range of gases.

The unit has multiple alarms with an audible 95dB alarm with multiple options so you can select distinct tones for different alarm levels, bright red/blue LED's and vibrating alerts to provide warning of gas hazards. The display is backlit and displays real time gas concentrations.

The unit is operated with a single button that is easy to use with gloves on and lightweight at between 86g and 139g.

Gasman has a full timed data log with adjustable sample range and can store 900 hours of data at 1 minute intervals and greater than 4800 events.

The Gasman is ATEX* rated and has an ingress rating of IP65.

Gasman toxic gas and oxygen are available with a rechargeable (12 hours use) or as a non-rechargeable 2 years battery life option. The flammable cells are supplied as a rechargeable unit only.

* The CO2 Gasman can only be used in areas that are not flammable.

The MSA Altair 2X single cell personal gas detector is revolutionary with its breath on bump test facility, currently only available for H²S. This technology now allows anyone to bump test the H²S units using only their own breath. This had always been done before using test gas and still is for the other cells in the range as that used to be the only way to verify the findings.

The MSA Altair 2X H²S Pulse though uses technology at present unique to the MSA H²S cell. This incorporates analysis which proves that the cell is able to see gas and then verifys that the electrical output is working and responds. It flashes red if the unit has not been bumped and green with a tick displayed if it has.

All of the units are extremely robust and have an IP rating of 67 with the water part being 1 to 5 and 7.

The units are available with a wide range of sensor choice although cells other than H²S must be bump tested using calibration gas and are available in black or glow in the dark.

The units all require calibration at 6 months with verified test gas but the H²S version is bumped using only your breath. These are all serviceable and give an extreme low cost of ownership which helps the environment and your pocket.

Used with the Galaxy 2 dock, the units can also be calibrated or bump tested using calibration gas in house without the need to send them away. The units have 3 year warranty including cells, except for CL² which has a 2 year sensor life.

The PS500-CO2 detects 0-5% volume CO² reliably and accurately using infrared capabilities

It is small and lightweight with a high intensity penetrating and distinctive audible alarm (95dBA) that is useful in noisy environments, together with a bright visual alarm.

With a rubberised outer casing the unit has hi-impact resistance for challenging work areas and is rated to IP65.
